🎵 Neo Sponsored Web3 Music Festival

Neo partnered with the Fansland Web3 music festival, which was held in Bangkok on May 5 - 8 and headlined by South Korean rapper Psy. As part of the engagement, Neo hosted an afterparty that brought together Web3 enthusiasts and significantly increased Neo’s brand awareness. 🤖 Introducing MelkBot to Neo’s Discord Server

MelkBot, which stands for “Meaningful Experiences for Learning and Knowledge,” is an interactive Discord bot designed for Web3 education by MELKDAO. Neo integrated this learn-to-earn style bot into our official Discord server. To celebrate this integration, we organized an interactive community activity, giving users the chance to win a share of 50 GAS tokens by completing missions through MelkBot.

📈 NEO Listed on OKCoin Japan

On June 17, OKCoin Japan, a subsidiary of the blockchain services company OK Group and one of the largest cryptocurrency exchanges in Japan, began handling the NEO token. This move, under the regulatory framework of the Japanese Financial Services Agency, expands Neo’s footprint in APAC and solidifies our status as a leading Layer-1 blockchain in the region.

📈 NEO/BTC and GAS/BTC Supported by Upbit Korea

Starting from June 17, the Korean crypto exchange Upbit Korea began supporting NEO/BTC and GAS/BTC trading pairs.

🛠️ Neo N3 Network Upgrades

The Neo N3 network underwent several upgrades during the reporting period. Neo-CLI v3.7.4 was applied to the T5 TestNet on May 17 and to the MainNet on May 24. Neo-CLI v3.7.5 was applied to the T5 TestNet on June 13 and to the MainNet on June 18. Details of the upgrades can be found in the attached links. 🏆 Announcing the Winner of the Neo Bounty in the BeWater Hackathon

With the successful conclusion of the BeWater AI Crypto Hackathon on June 15, we were excited to announce the winner of the Neo Bounty Prize as Assisterr, a Cambridge-based startup focused on constructing a network of community-owned Small Language Models (SLMs). In addition to winning the $2,000 prize, Assisterr has committed to developing on the upcoming Neo X sidechain.
